The bridal dress is the most important thing in a wedding. Every bride wants to look her best on the most special day of her life. So how do you go about choosing a dress that will make or break the day?While choosing a dress you should keep in mind to choose a dress that suits you the best rather than go in for other latest style. Make sure if you choose the latest trend that it looks good on you or not. The dress should reflect your personality and sense of style. Also choose a dress depending on your current weight and shape and not try to fit into a dress for a slimmer person. If in case you lose weight before the wedding alterations can be made to the dress.
Visit as many stores as you can and try on as many dresses may be there is something you already have in mind. When you are visiting stores avoid using make up as it can stain the dress. Wear your best lingerie as you would be trying out clothes with complete strangers around. Ensure they are comfortable and wear comfortable shoes as you could be walking around for hours. Keep in mind; carry a pair of heels with you so when you are trying on the dresses you will be able to visualize how the dress looks with heels on and is the length needs to be adjusted.
Try to move about in the dress to see if you feel comfortable, maybe even dance a few steps. It would be a total waste if you bought a lovely dress and you were not is able to move about or dance on the great day. The lights in the shop are meant to flatter the clothes and checking the clothes in daylight might give you a better idea about the exact shade and texture and help you decide better.
Make a list of what you see and your comments along with your best friends opinions about the dresses as it may get confusing and difficult to recall all the information about the dresses when you are back home when you want to shortlist your options. Do not take too many people along as too many opinions would only confuse you more. One or two trusted friends who would give you their true opinions are adequate. Imagine how you would look in a particular dress in the wedding setting.
